LISA ALLEN

SALON OWNER | ADVANCED STYLIST

Lisa first got hooked on salon life as a Saturday girl with her local hairdresser. She fell in love with the creativity, energy and conversation and never looked back.

While working her way up from apprentice to manager, then becoming a salon owner, Lisa was also exploring the hospitality sector, running and owning various cafes and restaurants.

A self-confessed social creature who loves the buzz of being close to the action, Lisa was in her element as her knowledge of food, wine, music and fashion grew and blossomed.

Moving to Cambridge, she identified The Sample Room as a top salon and worked here for several years before buying the business shortly before lockdown in 2020. Her knowledge of hospitality inspired Lisa to create a whole new standard of client care and she envisioned a salon where a similarly relaxing, uplifting and optimistic environment could exist.

STACEY

ADVANCED STYLIST | BLONDE SPECIALIST

Stacey spent 7 years hairdressing in Australia and previously owned her own salon. A talented colour specialist, her blonde work is simply next level, she consistently produces the most stunning clean, bright shades for our fair-haired friends.

Stacey’s super warm-hearted and loves seeing her clients leave the salon feeling confident and refreshed. She’s devoted to her family and happiest hanging out with her two beautiful girls. Stacey's looking forward to "tying the knot" in January after a long wait and postponements over the last couple of years.

JESS

ADVANCED STYLIST | COLOUR SPECIALIST

Jess has spent 15 years hairdressing , both in the Hawkes Bay and previously owning her own salon in Rotorua. Jess is a talented colour specialist, her balayage work is soft and beautifully seamless.

Jess's gentle nature and calming presence puts you at ease to enjoy every moment of your time in salon. Jess also has a keen interest in "classic cars" and loves going a good "hunt" in the weekend with her beloved horses.

JULIANA

ADVANCED STYLIST | COLOUR SPECIALIST

Originally from Brazil, Juliana put her law course on hold when she decided to sign up for a blow-drying workshop and was so hooked, she never looked back. Her balayage work is beyond stunning and her Insta-worthy updos are always in hot demand.

A true creative, Juliana is passionate about the arts and loves helping her clients feel empowered. She also enjoys time out for great food , a glass of good pinot noir and late night dances with great friends.

DENA

ADVANCED STYLIST / COLOUR SPECIALIST

Dena has 20 years of industry experience and creativity, her love for her job remains unwavering.Dena expertise lies in creating stunning styles, particularly bobs and classic layered styles. When it comes to colour , Dena's skills truly shine, with a speciality in seamless blended blondes and soft root shadows. One of Dena's favourite services is blow outs, she loves the transformative power of a perfectly styled blow wave , leaving clients feeling fabulous.

Outside of the salon, Dena loves to enjoy some reformer pilates and beach life with her two boys.

ZINNIA

STYLIST / COLOUR SPECIALIST

Zinnia began her hairdressing career in Tauranga before heading over to our beautiful town. Zinnia loves to produce a colourful change or creating the perfect balayage for her clients and she definitely knows how to get that big bouncy blow-out look if that's what your after.

With a love for animals , a good caramel latte and knows how to do some serious shopping, (especially for a great sneaker) Zinnia will have you feeling relaxed and leaving the salon feeling like a million dollars.

OLIVIA

RISING STAR / COLOUR ASSISTANT

Olivia, our little rising star, joined us after a year at hairdressing school. Liv is loving salon life and is passionate about her chosen career. Liv works alongside our stylists, giving us an extra pair of hands to achieve our best results for your hair.

Liv loves to spend her time away from the salon hanging out with friends , watching locals performances and on occasion even gets on stage herself.

The most important person in the salon is always you.
